The warranty is not available to fleet customers and, except as otherwise required by applicable law (including, but not limited, for individuals residing in Quebec), is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser or lessee.

Basic Warranty coverage is for 3 years or 60,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

Rust-through coverage on all body sheet metal is for 5 years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

The Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine is protected by a separate Limited Warranty, covering the engine for 5 years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.


The Pacifica Hybrid high voltage battery is covered for 10 years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

A1. The 10-Year / 160,000 km Limited Powertrain Warranty is available exclusively to retail customers who purchase or lease new, previously unregistered 2026 RAM vehicles from an authorized Canadian dealership like Redwater Dodge.  Eligible models include:

  • RAM 1500 (including high-performance RHO models)
  • RAM 2500 Heavy Duty
  • RAM 3500 Heavy Duty
  • RAM Chassis Cab (3500 / 4500 / 5500)
  • RAM ProMaster Vans

Note: Full battery-electric vehicles and commercial fleet purchases are excluded from this specific 10-year retail program.

A2. No. The 2026 model year is the final year Chrysler and RAM are offering Canada's 10-Year / 160,000 km Powertrain Limited Warranty. Moving into the 2027 model year, powertrain warranty coverage will revert to standard coverage periods. Purchasing a 2026 RAM model is your last opportunity to secure a full decade of factory powertrain protection.


Q3. What mechanical components are covered under the Powertrain Limited Warranty?

A3. The powertrain warranty covers the core mechanical components responsible for driving your vehicle:

Engine: Cylinder block and all internal engine parts, oil and water pumps, intake and exhaust manifolds, and superchargers.

Transmission: Transmission case and all internal components, torque converter, and control sensors.

Drive Systems: Transfer case (on 4x4 models), driveshafts, differentials, and axles.
