The Step-by-Step Factory Order Process

The journey from a digital configuration to your driveway involves several key milestones. Here is how we manage your order to ensure perfection:

Selection & Customization: Everything starts with the build. You choose the model (Ram 1500, 2500, or 3500) and the specific technical specs. If we don't have the exact combination of gear ratios, interior packages, or specialized towing tech on our lot, we go straight to the manufacturer source.

Order Confirmation & Buildability: Once we submit your request, you’ll receive an official order confirmation. The manufacturer reviews the specs to ensure they are "buildable" based on current product availability and inspection standards.

The Quote & Checklist: Before the assembly line starts moving, we provide a transparent building quote. You’ll see the final pricing and a checklist of all included options so there are no surprises.

Inspection & Delivery: After your truck is built, it undergoes a rigorous manufacturer inspection. Once it clears the plant, it is shipped directly to Redwater Dodge. We will notify you the moment the tires hit our pavement.


Volume Orders: Fleet & Multi-Truck Discounts

One of the most common questions we receive is: "Is there a discount for ordering multiple trucks?"

The answer is a definitive yes. At Redwater Dodge, we value our commercial partners and high-volume buyers. If you are ordering in volume, we apply specialized discounts to ensure your fleet expansion is as cost-effective as possible. We take care of our own here in Redwater, and that means giving you the best price for your loyalty and scale.


Timelines and Expectations

In a world of "next-day delivery," custom manufacturing requires a bit more patience, but the result is worth it. Typically, a factory-ordered Ram takes between 8 to 16 weeks to arrive.

It is important to note that timelines can fluctuate based on conditions "down south" where the trucks are manufactured. Factors such as supply chain availability, seasonal weather conditions, and shipping logistics can play a role. However, you won't be left in the dark.


Tracking Your Build

We know the anticipation of a new truck can be intense. That’s why we provide full transparency. We have access to real-time tracking that allows us to see where your truck is in the production and shipping cycle at all times. If you want an update, just give us a shout.


The Commitment: Deposits & Customization

Because a factory order is a truck built specifically for you, to your unique tastes and requirements, we do require a non-refundable deposit. This secures your spot in the production queue and confirms the commitment to the build. Q1: Can I change my order after it has been submitted?

A1: Changes can often be made during the "Ordered" stage, but once the truck moves into "Farming" or "Production," the specs are locked in by the factory. We recommend finalizing all choices during our initial consultation.


Q2: Do factory orders qualify for current incentives?

A2: Generally, customers can choose between the incentives available at the time of order or the incentives available at the time of delivery. We will work with you to ensure you get the best possible rebate structure.


Q3: What happens if my trade-in value changes while I wait for my order?

A3: We provide a trade-in appraisal at the time of your order. While market conditions can shift over 12 weeks, we do our best to protect your trade value to keep your financing plan consistent.
